Students and young people
Travel that keeps learning, friendship and independence in the same plan.
We work with students, young people, families and education teams to design accessible educational travel, group experiences and transition-to-independence journeys. Every arrangement is planned individually and nothing is confirmed until it is genuinely suitable.
Who this is for
We plan with the young person, the people who know them and the organisation responsible for the trip.
Students and young travellers
Experiences shaped around interests and friendships, with pacing, quiet spaces and communication support planned in from the start.
Families and carers
Clear written outlines, agreed contact points and honest answers about what is and is not confirmed before anyone commits.
Schools and education teams
Planning support for excursions, camps and study experiences, including access review of venues, transport and accommodation.
Universities and pathway programs
Cultural, study and exchange journeys in development, designed with access and wellbeing considered alongside the academic purpose.

Planning
What we work through
Group travel adds moving parts. We plan them together rather than in isolation.
- Access review of every venue, transport leg and overnight stay, asked as specific questions rather than accepted as general claims
- Communication planning: preferred methods, processing time and how choices are made while away from home
- Pacing, rest, sensory load and quiet-space options built into the itinerary rather than added later
- Agreed roles between the education team, family and any support workers, written down before departure
- Contingency planning for changes, fatigue, illness or an activity that turns out not to suit
Safeguarding
How responsibility is shared
Roles are written down before anything is confirmed, so nobody assumes someone else has it covered.
- Young people's participation and consent are treated as central, with families and education teams involved as agreed
- Supervision arrangements, ratios and points of contact are confirmed in writing by the responsible organisation
- We do not deliver disability support ourselves. Where eligible disability supports are required, these are assessed and delivered separately by Your Accessible Care under a separate agreement
- Sensitive information is only requested when genuinely needed for suitability or safety planning, with consent and an explanation of why
- Working with children requirements are the responsibility of the organisations engaged, and are confirmed case by case
The journey
The planning stages
- 1
Listen
Understand goals, preferences, communication and access needs.
- 2
Explore
Consider the experience, destination and possible support pathway.
- 3
Co-design
Shape an individual proposal, cost categories and responsibilities.
- 4
Prepare
Confirm suitability, agreements, suppliers, documents and contingencies.
- 5
Experience and learn
Deliver only when arrangements are confirmed, then use feedback to improve.

Travel costs - including flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport - are separate from disability support costs. Some disability support costs may be claimable where permitted under current NDIS rules and the participant's plan. Eligibility must be confirmed individually.
Travel and experience costs
Generally contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Travel. Includes flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport.
Eligible disability support costs
Separately assessed, contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Care where applicable, subject to individual assessment and operational availability.
This website does not provide personal funding advice. Eligibility must be confirmed individually.
Planning a student, youth or group experience?
Tell us who is travelling, what the purpose of the trip is and what would need to be true for it to work. An enquiry is not a booking or a confirmation of suitability.
