Privacy and information handling

A plain-English summary of how we treat the information you share. It is a statement of principles, not a substitute for a formal privacy policy, which will be published once finalised.

What we collect, and when

At first contact we ask only for what is needed to have a useful conversation: your name, how to reach you, your communication preferences and a short description of what you are considering. We do not ask for diagnosis, plan documents or health records at enquiry stage.

Later in planning, we may need specific information relevant to suitability or safety. We will explain why it is needed, what it will be used for, and who will see it, and we will ask for your consent before collecting it.

Sensitive information

Health, disability and support information is treated as sensitive. Please do not send sensitive health, identity or NDIS documents by ordinary email unless we provide a secure way to do so. Enquiry forms on this site are designed to discourage sensitive detail.

Sharing between the two organisations

Your Accessible Travel and Your Accessible Care are related but distinct, with separate agreements. Information is shared between them only with your consent, only where it is necessary for a support pathway, and only to the extent required.

Consent, access and correction

You can change your communication preferences or withdraw consent at any time. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.

Email info@yatau.com.au with any privacy question or request.

Website analytics

We measure page views and key actions such as enquiry submissions to understand which information is useful. We do not use this website to build advertising profiles, and we do not record the content of your enquiry for analytics purposes.
