Access and communication considerations
Planning considers physical, sensory, cognitive, communication, psychosocial and multiple access requirements together. We plan around the person, not a diagnosis.
- Accommodation: room configuration, bathroom layout, equipment and space to move
- Transport: vehicle type, transfers, seating, breaks and luggage or equipment
- Sensory and cognitive: routine, rest, orientation and preparation materials
- Communication: how decisions are made and confirmed away from home
- Continuity: medication routines, sleep, food preferences and familiar supports
- Contingency: what happens if something changes or an activity is not suitable
What may be included, excluded and still to be confirmed

- Itinerary concept, supplier enquiries and a written travel proposal
- Access questions asked of accommodation and activity providers
- Coordination of documents, contingencies and travel-day sequencing

- Disability support delivery, assessed separately by Your Accessible Care where applicable

Travel costs - including flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport - are separate from disability support costs. Some disability support costs may be claimable where permitted under current NDIS rules and the participant's plan. Eligibility must be confirmed individually.

Generally contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Travel. Includes flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport.
Eligible disability support costs
Separately assessed, contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Care where applicable, subject to individual assessment and operational availability.
