How it works
Accessible travel planning starts by listening.
Planning moves through five stages. At each stage there is a decision point, and nothing is confirmed until arrangements are in place.
- 1
Listen
Understand goals, preferences, communication and access needs.
We start with what you want to do and how you prefer to communicate. Useful at this stage: the kind of experience you are imagining, who you would like involved, and anything that would make the first conversation work better for you. We do not ask for diagnosis, plan documents or health records at first contact.
- 2
Explore
Consider the experience, destination and possible support pathway.
We look at options, practical constraints and whether an eligible disability support pathway through Your Accessible Care may be relevant. Nothing is booked or promised at this stage.
- 3
Co-design
Shape an individual proposal, cost categories and responsibilities.
Together we shape a written proposal: what is planned, what is included, what is excluded, what is still to be confirmed, and which costs are travel costs and which may be disability support costs. Sensitive information is only requested when it is genuinely needed for suitability or safety planning, with your consent and an explanation of why.
- 4
Prepare
Confirm suitability, agreements, suppliers, documents and contingencies.
Suppliers and destinations are checked with specific questions rather than general access claims. Where relevant, a Your Accessible Travel travel agreement and a separate Your Accessible Care service agreement are put in place. Risks, contingencies and points of contact are agreed in writing.
- 5
Experience and learn
Deliver only when arrangements are confirmed, then use feedback to improve.
An experience proceeds only when arrangements are confirmed. Afterwards we ask what worked, what did not, and what we should change. Not every experience will suit every person; where that is the case we will say so and suggest adjustments or an honest alternative.
Consent, communication and information
What we ask for, and when
At first contact we only ask for what is needed to have a useful conversation. Sensitive information - for example, health or support information relevant to safety or suitability - is requested later, only where it is genuinely needed, with your consent and an explanation of why it is being asked for and how it will be handled.
Communication preferences
You choose how we communicate: the method, the pace, who else is involved and what formats work for you. Preferences are recorded and used throughout planning, and you can change them at any time.
Supplier and destination checks
We ask suppliers specific, verifiable questions rather than accepting general access claims, and we record what has and has not been confirmed. We do not publish access features we have not verified.
Suitability, risk and contingency
Together we consider what could change, what would help, and what should happen if plans need to shift. Not every experience will suit every person. Where that is the case we will say so, and suggest adjustments or an honest alternative.
Two agreements, two sets of responsibilities
Your Accessible Travel agreement
Covers travel planning, coordination, suppliers and travel costs.
Your Accessible Care service agreement
Where eligible disability supports are involved, a separate service agreement is made with Your Accessible Care, subject to individual assessment and operational availability.
Travel costs and disability support costs
Travel costs - including flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport - are separate from disability support costs. Some disability support costs may be claimable where permitted under current NDIS rules and the participant's plan. Eligibility must be confirmed individually.
Travel and experience costs
Generally contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Travel. Includes flights, accommodation, meals, activities and general transport.
Eligible disability support costs
Separately assessed, contracted and invoiced by Your Accessible Care where applicable, subject to individual assessment and operational availability.
This website does not provide personal funding advice. Eligibility must be confirmed individually.

A first conversation helps us understand your goals and preferences. It is not a booking, assessment outcome or confirmation of availability.
